Sorry for the late notice; I forgot to announce that I'm reading from BURNING DAYS at the Merril Collection in Toronto on Friday 8th April!

The Toronto event coincides with the science fiction convention Ad Astra, where I'll be for the rest of the weekend. I might be reading at the convention as well -- not sure about that, though. The weekend is already rather packed with readings and launches.

GLENN GRANT reads from his new story collection BURNING DAYS
at the Merril:

When: Friday, April 8 · 7:00pm - 9:00pm
Where: Merril Collection, Lillian H. Smith branch of the Toronto Public Library, 239 College Street, Toronto, ON

Cory Doctorow says:
"Burning Days . . . it's got that old school, early days grittiness that made reading books like Mirrorshades and Burning Chrome so exciting: giant junk-mecha pit-fighting in illegal wastelands, secret cyborg cops working noir assassinations; deep greens fighting factional splits at massive post-apocalyptic burningmans; waterlogged climate refugees duking it out with economic crisis lumpenproletariat in the shadow of nanotech seawalls while improvised bombs detonate in the background."
